I go into the Bangalore RTO office to renew my drivers license and inquired about the new validity period, the clerk over there goes "Sir, you will only get a 10 year license as you will be 50 soon" (All of it in Kannada, the old trick of switching to the local language still works)
Little did I realize that being 50 is now coming into my periphery of things and is no longer considered old, but then another thought occurred, may be retirement is not that far away after all !! All I have to do now is save for it :)
50 old...?
Nah.. 80 yes.. and that is until I get to 70 !!
