Dear Mrs. Klenofsky
You have been a great teacher to me. I liked Lreanigg about president's Woodrows pets were funny. When we had the parade of president's it was scary going up and talking about are presidents. When you were going up did you do the parade of presidents?
Your student

Dear Nandita,

Month of Birthdays - Nishanth
May 2nd turned out to be one of the perfect days for outdoor activity. Heavy rains form the previous few days kept the temperatures in check and sunshine set the mood for a good time.
Good home made food was what we decided would be the centerpiece of the celebration and so Veena went to extensive lengths to plot how she could accomplish it.
All of the preparation work that could be done before hand like making the mix for puliyogere, cutting vegetables, grinding dough and similar activities were performed earlier and putting them all together was done on the day of the party.
The day started at 4 AM for veena, and I reluctantly got out of bed more out of guilt that she was going at it all alone. In about 4 hours all of the cooking was done and the menu consisted of
Urad Dal vada
Dokla
Idly
Sambar
Coconut chutney
Onion Chutney
Tandori chicken
Puliyogere Rice
Pav & Baji(Thanks to Sappu)
Gulab Jamoon
The food turned out to be a big hit and we were left with a feeling that we had not made enough. Perhaps another tray of Idly, Vada and Dokla would have satisfied the palette. Well, it is most appreciated when there is still a craving for more...!
We played a few games like Dodge Ball, Soccer, Football, Frisbee and throwing water balloons. All of this combined with music made for a very memorable day.
